Dear all,
We are pleased to invite you to attend the eleventh biennial conference
of the International Association for the Study of Common Property
(IASCP). The conference will take place from June 19-June 23, 2006, on
the grounds the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA) in the town of Ubud,
Bali. The sub-themes as follows:
1. Contemporary analytical tools and theoretical questions (soft system
methodology, systems dynamics, fuzzy cognitive mapping, cellular
automata, and multi-agent systems)
2. Conservation Policy and the Commons.
3. Culture, identity, and survival of the commons
4. New Frontiers (the new global commons)
5. Privatization
6. The commons and its role in revitalizing of agriculture, fishery, and
forestry
7. Local resource rights and management institutions
8. The state, legal reform, and decentralization
9. Resurgent Commons within public or private property
The deadline for the submission of abstracts for the conference has been
extended to December, 21, 2005. Please see the abstract submission
