IN
INDUSTRY AND ENVIRONMENT
--------
13th EUROPEAN SIMULATION SYMPOSIUM AND EXHIBITION (ESS'01)
Marseilles, France
October 18th-20th, 2001
Sponsored by
The International Society for Computer Simulation
--------
* MODELING AND SIMULATION OF INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS :
The main goal of this session is to point out the current research
works on applications and tools for modeling and simulation with
MAS in industrials systems with MAS and to facilitate contacts
and dialogue between scientists (in informatics, automatics and
industrial engineering) and industry.
Applications : modeling and/or simulation in :
Control of industrial systems,
Scheduling,
Planning,
Supply chain,
Transport and logistics,
...
* MODELING AND SIMULATION OF ENVIRONEMENTAL SYSTEMS :
The main goal of this session is to stimulate contacts between
practitioners of multi-agent systems on socio-ecosystems in order to
exchange experiences on large-scale applications, modelling
methodologies and management of multi-scale (both temporal
and spatial) and multiple viewpoints models.
Applications :
Environment management,
Resource management,
Social impact on environment,
Political impact on environment,
Computer-aided decision making,
Socio-eco-systems modelling
...
