Subject: line model

Hi,
I am trying to represent a ' line' model in Cormas, i.e. a model in
which agents are located on a line (or a circle since the two side
agents are connected). That means that each agent has 2 neighbors only
instead of 4. I tried to set up the grid size to 1 row and 10 colonnes
to represent a population of 10 agents located on a line; however, it
still takes 4 neighbors into account.
How can I solve this?
Thank you for your help.
cheers,
