Hello

There's plenty of ABM which will interest your audience I think. Do you want
it to be theoeretical ? With Cormas you have the Pepper and Smuts model (but
you are the one wh implemented is not it?). Marco Janssen also did a model,
I have the following reference.

Janssen, M., Anderies, J., Stafford-Smith, M. and Walker, A. 2003.
Implications of sptatial heterogenity of grazing pressure on the resilience
of rangelands. Pages 103-126 in M. Janssen, editor. Complexity and ecosystem
management. The theory and practice of multi-agent systems. Edgar-Elwar.

or more applied to a specific case-study?

the Djemiong model which is available on the cormas site.

Raphael Mathevet also

Mathevet, R., Bousquet, F., Le Page, C. and Antona, M. 2003. Agent-based
simulations of interactions between duck population, farming decisions and
leasing of hunting rights in the camargue (southern france). Ecological
modelling, 165:107-126

A good URL to find models, demos and sometimes videos is :

Good luck

  Hi Everybody

I have a 15 minute slot for presenting something of interest to a bunch of
zoologists (ecologists, evolutionary biologists and animal behaviour). I
thought it would be nice to do something on agent-based models and the
applicability thereof to these fields. If anyone has, or know of any, nice
models that I can use for illustration purposes (with proper recognition),
please let me know.

  Best wishes,

  Louise Erasmus
