Advances and Applications for Management, Decision Making, and Poverty
Reduction
January 9-11, 2007
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Systems Modeling and Simulation plays an important role in the everyday
life of the mankind nowadays. Not only for the integration of existing
knowledge and understanding about biophysical and socio-economic systems,
but also for the application in the development of the sustainable
systems, especially small and medium enterprises. Proper systems modeling
and simulation techniques could be applied for evaluating a wide range of
scenarios for better production and marketing systems for the meeting the
8 MDGs
Objectives:
1. To render participants in presenting and obtaining recent research
results in key areas of Systems Modeling and Simulation.
2. To exchange scientific information and strengthen research cooperation
between researchers and organization.
3. To gain ideas, techniques and guidelines for further development of
poverty reduction through Systems Modeling and Simulation as well as other
MDGs.
