Hi,

If you are using VisualWorks 7.2.1nc and Cormas 2004, there seems to be 2 missing methods from the
new version of visual works that is required by cormas: 1) "asArrayOfSubstrings", and 2)
"asArrayOfSubstringsSeparatedBy"; thus you are getting the error. To fix this problem, you need
to "file-in" the two missing methods, which i have attached to this email. If you have used the
VW7, you could also get these methods from that version of VW.

If you are not familiar with the file-in command, here are the instructions:
1) extract the *.st files I have included in the zip to a folder. remember what this folder is and
its location.
2) in the visual works window, click on the file browser button (the one with 2 folders and a pair
of glasses icon) or press F2. This will open the file browser.
3) Locate the *.st files (from 1) using this this file browser. on the top right box you will see
the *.st files. select the *.st file and, using your mouse, right-click on it. choose the
"File-In" command and select yes when prompted. Remember to "file-in" both *.st files mentioned
above.
4) don't forget to save the Cormas image file after you "file-in" the methods.

After this, you should now be able to import ASCII files without a problem.

I hope this helps.

regards,
Paolo
