Sorry : we did not add such a mechanism to the model. Actually the model has not been evolving since the writing of the JASSS article and I don't think it will, except if a third person wants to improve it.
If you need more details on this (basic !) model, let me know.

Modelling the emergence of resource-sharing conventions: an agent-based approach) which was dealing with "emergence" really interested me, it concludes by saying that a a conflict resolution mechanism could be included to the model. Since then, has anybody added such a mechanism to the model?
