R. Mathevet a présenté le 6 Septembre une these en Géographie qui comprend
une partie modélisation.
"Usage des zones humides camarguaises : enjeux et dynamique des interactions
Environnement/ Usagers/ Territoire"
For his phD research " Wetlands uses in the Camargue : stakes and dynamic of
Environment/users/Territory interactions" R . Mathevet developed a MAS
model.
This model involves plots and farms, farmer agents who make decisions on
the land (pasture, agriculture, space for waterfowl hunting), hunters and
waterfowl. The results highlight the influence of environmental constraints
in structuring the hunting and agricultural space. The simulations allow to
renew the questioning regarding the knowledge of the various organisation
levels of the Camargue rural system and to highlight some prospective
elements of the future territorial developmentof the Camargue.
