Concerning CORMAS on Linux, I've got the answer :
At the end of the installation of VisualWorks, it is ask to declare an
environment variable BUT VisualWorks don't take this env variable into
account (tested on Ubuntu 10.4). So what you need to do is :

1 - in a terminal
      cd 'visualworks_directory'
      bin/linux86/vwlinux86 cormas/visualnc.im
      then opening the cormas parcel and save it in cormas.im file

THEN

2 - in a terminal or in a script :
      cd 'visualworks_directory'
      bin/linux86/vwlinux86 cormas/cormas.im

It's all free, so I'm happy ! bye bye windoze :)
