Dear colleagues,

attached you will find a job opening for a scientist (post doc) position (3 years) at the Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries in Berlin (Germany) in cooperation with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Laxenburg (Austria).

The candidate is expected to model social and ecological dynamics operating within German recreational fisheries systems. The project is part of a large, interdisciplinary project entitled "Adapative Dynamics and Management of Coupled Social-Ecological Systems of Recreational Fisheries" (ADAPTFISH).

This position needs to be reopened because we failed in attracting suitable candidates in the first round. Please help in raising awareness of this position among potential candidates around the world. You are free to display the job ad at your institute (university), forward this email to colleagues and interested working groups or post it at appropriate mailing lists you have access to. It would be so tragical to not be able to fill this position.

Thank you in advance and best wishes.

Robert Arlinghaus

Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries, Berlin.
